Attachments[]

Attachments are modifications for weapons that can be unlocked by leveling them up. Experience for weapons can be earned by killing enemies, though assisting in their deaths will also award 8 (10 with XP boost perk) experience. Killing an enemy grants 22 experience (26 with XP boost perk) for a weapon. Weapons can reach a maximum of 60 levels.

Each weapon is able to equip up to five attachments at one time, including Perks.

The displayed levels for unlocking attachments are for guns capable of wielding attachments in every standard category: Optics, Lasers, Muzzles, Underbarrel, Grips, Perks. Weapons missing some attachment categories may have slightly higher level requirements for attachments, such as pistols.

Certain guns are unique in that they can modify their barrel, ammo, and stock, which can alter their performance far more than other attachments would for other weapons.

Stats[]

Each gun has stats that have differing effects on the performance of your gun and can be altered through adding attachments, though these may come with drawbacks.

All guns have innate stats that aren't displayed but are what is mainly affected by attachments.

  • ADS Speed - The speed at which you transition into and out of Aiming Down Sights (also affected by handling).
  • Handling - The speed at which a weapon becomes ready to fire after equipping it (also affects ADS speed).
  • Magazine Capacity - The number of rounds that can be fired before having to reload.
  • Hip-fire Accuracy - Accuracy when not aiming down sights.
  • Reload Time - The amount of time before weapon becomes ready to fire after initiating a Reload.
  • Mobility - How fast you move relative to the default movement speed of 100%.
  • Recoil (Vertical and Horizontal) - How far the reticle travels in a given direction (Up or Left/Right) upon firing.
  • Recoil Control/Recoil Variability - Decreases the intensity of recoil. Higher recoil control will mean less overall variation (Randomness) in spread.
  • Sound Level - Distance at which an enemy can detect your weapon's firing noises through Radar and attenuation (In-game hearing).
  • Damage Range - Diminishing bullet damage based on distance that bullet has travelled, down to a minimum percentage varying between guns.
  • Damage at Range - Minimum amount of damage that bullet will deal outside of the weapons effective range.

NOTE: If an attachment is not exclusive to a single weapon, then the unlock level is based on the level at which the AK-47 unlocks said attachment for weapons without modern attachments, for weapons with modern attachments the unlock level is based on the level at which the MP5 unlocks it for a minimum, and the Makarov for maximum required level for Optics, Muzzles, Tapes, Grips and Perks with the AWP as the maximum required level for underbarrels.

Muzzle (Shotguns)[]

Shotguns use different muzzle attachments, such as a wide range of barrel chokes that affect the weapon's spread and shot pattern. The levels displayed in this table are from the Remington 870, though weapons with more attachment options will have higher levels.

Weapon Exclusive Attachments[]

Certain firearms have attachments that are exclusive to them. They adjust parts of the gun, such as their frame, barrel, stock, or magazine. Those attachments can found on their respective pages of the following weapons:
